Happy Halloween week blog readers! As you can tell from previous posts, we here at "Livin' Life...one day at a time" are celebrating Halloween this week. And finally....drum roll please...I will be unveiling my costume for Halloween 2008....

I will be celebrating the marriage of my wonderful friends, Cliff & Robyn, on Halloween this year, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone and dress as a bridesmaid this year. A Happy Halloween to all & a very hearty congratulations to C & R!

30 is the new 20

It's been 5 full days of being 30, and through this time, I have been able to reflect on some of the positive aspects of reaching this point. Let me share....

1. I can now refer to myself as a cougar.

2. It's okay if I spend my Friday evenings at home...I'm 30 and need my rest.

3. The number of younger guys for me to date has increased.

4. I have gained more respect from my co-workers. *

5. I can now look back at the idiotic things I did in my 20s and say "I'm so glad I'm now 30 and much more self-actualized!" *
